Post Weighting

Skyfeed uses Hacker News to rank posts: https://medium.com/hacking-and-gonzo/how-hacker-news-ranking-algorithm-works-1d9b0cf2c08d
It would be nice to assign bonus points to posts to a system like this. If a user used #Urbanism+ it would count as 10 likes. Or perhaps for every like, the system treats it as 1.5x likes. This would encourage people to use certain hashtags that promote a feed.
But it could also be used simply to boost posts that are matched based on keywords that are more interesting. Not all terms in regex are equal. Maybe a feed is flooded with one type of post and a feed maker wants the trending page to be more balanced. This could do that.
Users on a list could also receive priority weighting. Users spamming a feed could receive deprioritized weighting. THIS should be a feature itself. This would need to be more dynamic though. The most a user posts to a feed (spamming), the less their posts count for. A hard threshold where their post stop showing up would be ideal. A smart system that is less harsh on posts that actually get a lot of attention would be nice as well.
I can expand on any of this if I'm not clear enough. I'm kind of throwing these ideas at the wall quickly.

Being able to lower the rank of posts with >X hashtags embedded would also be nice

Taurean Bryant yes absolutely. Hashtags, regex, any node really would be amazing to be able to add a fixed +/- likes/replies/reports or percentage based multipliers (likely the only one I would use but I'm sure fixed would have its use cases)

Deprioritizing spamming users would be amazing. Generally more control over post weighting would be great!
